Kahblis
ARTIST BIO: Keron Kurt” Kahblis” Tylon George is a Twenty-Eight year old singer/songwriter from the twin island state of Trinidad & Tobago. Thanks to his talent for writing, he connects with the audiences with the very first listen and as a result, his songs have been receiving many accolades with the public in T&T. A songwriter instinct, Kahblis has a flair & flow for writing catchy songs that leave the listener moved by the raw emotion in each and every tune. MORE ABOUT KAHBLIS: Singing has been Kahbis’ whole life and he began as a youngster in one of the most versatile children’s choirs in Tobago, his local church choir, Maranatha Christian Assembly, as well as a member of regional and world renowned Signal Hill Alumni Choir which means the spotlight is nothing new to him. Although his roots are firmly placed Soca, he draws inspiration from many different lyrical and musical influences. His style is eclectic, and it is that versatility that has landed his song “First time Loved” a hit in North America, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and around the Caribbean with the song’s success and appeal has sparked the interest of producers, DJs, agents and managers alike. Music is not a new passion for Kahblis, he started writing songs as a mere adolescent. "I used any and everything that had a flat enough surface around the house to write on.”. It wasn't until the age of 20 though when he started to evolve as a song writer, and it is then that he decided to truly make music his life’s dream. The next few years though were challenging for Kahblis, as life took him through a journey of ups and down in the music industry. It was during this difficult period in which he made the unwanted decision to opt out of singing professionally. Music though, of course, was never far from his mind or his heart, and being the persistent and strong minded person that he is, he kept on pushing, and now, fortunately for us all, he is here to stay. "I always knew it was a matter of time until I started to write songs again, because it has always been my one, true passion.” Now fulfilling that passion in his birthplace of Tobago, a breathtaking paradise, Kahblis is sharing his time between enjoying nature, spending time with his wife and children and spending quality time in the studio where he writes material for the upcoming season. Based on the reception of his latest compositions, the future is looking promising indeed. "I love Watching Football TV and Live (football fanatic), surf the internet, singing and being among my close friends, spending quality time with my Empress and My Sons, GOD bless them all." ... more
